Jeff has been building homes since the early 1980’s. He began his building career as a brick layer then became a masonry contractor operating JS Masonry, Inc. Jeff transitioned to General Contracting after finding it very difficult to work with home building contractors while friends and family were having the same experience.

He realized a home builder that engaged the buyer with each step of the building process, kept the buyer informed of the building schedule while giving ample time for buyer selections, made recommendations for features that may have been overlooked, would immediately fill a void in the home building process. Jeff has used that formula as a successful builder and to this day Quality, Cost Control and Buyer Involvement remain the cornerstones of Jeff Smith Construction.

For over 30 years Jeff has successfully operated companies in the home building business, building everything from 1500 sq ft family homes to 10,000 sq ft plus custom luxury homes as well as small commercial projects in Salt Lake City, Park City and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. His experience and willingness to work hand in hand with the homeowner help ensure total satisfaction with every home delivered.

Some could say construction runs in Nihoa's blood. Nihoa spent many summers and holidays working construction under the guidance of his parents as well as his grandfather and uncles. Construction is what allowed him to grow his connection with everyone he works with, including his family. His early exposure to construction taught him the importance of hard work, patience and personal connections. Those attributes are what attracted him to Jeff Smith Construction, where relationships are prioritized. Everyday, he is working hard and improving his craft so your dreams are realized to their fullest potential.

Sydnee was born and raised right here in Southern Utah and has loved watching all the houses go from the ground up- especially within the last 10 years. After a time away from the red rocks and palm trees, she craves to get into any project that has such landscaping. Inspiration caused by her mothers love of HGTV has sparked a great interest for her to be involved in all aspects of making a house a home. It is nothing she grew up dreaming of doing, but has been nothing short of that to be able to start this new journey right in her hometown.
